Returns
Gelagen refund policy, step by step
Call the order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID inside the 60-day window. Put your full name, email and order ID in the box with the bottles and send it to 11 Penn Plaza, Floor 5, New York, NY 10001, USA at your own cost, with tracking. The refund posts 3 to 5 business days after the desk credits the order, then a further 5 to 10 days for the card to post it.

The procedure
Six steps, in this order
Read the whole list before you start the first step. The order matters more than any single item in it, because two of the steps stop being possible once a later one has happened.
Check the date you paid, not the date it arrived
The window is 60 days from purchase. Find the order email and count from the date on it. Outside the window the call is still worth making, though nothing published obliges anybody to say yes.
Call the order desk with the order ID in front of you
+1 (302) 200-3480. This is the step people skip and the one that protects them. It puts the request on record inside the window, and it tells you what the desk actually wants in the parcel before you spend money posting it.
Write the three lines and put them in the box
Full name, email address, order ID. On paper, in the box, with the bottles. A parcel of unlabelled bottles cannot be matched to a payment by anyone.
Pack the bottles and address the parcel to the returns address
11 Penn Plaza, Floor 5, New York, NY 10001, USA. Not the office address. Write it on the parcel rather than trusting a label printed weeks ago, and check the two addresses against each other once, because they are both in New York and they are not the same place.
Post it with tracking, and keep the receipt
You pay the return postage; that is published and it is normal. A parcel you cannot prove you sent is the only genuine risk in this process, and tracking costs a few dollars to remove it.
Note two dates and then wait
The date the parcel is delivered, and the date the desk tells you the credit was issued. From the second one, 3 to 5 business days after the desk credits the order, then a further 5 to 10 days for the card to post it.
What goes in the box
Five items, and one that stays out of it
| Item | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The bottles | All of them, sealed or otherwise | Whether a partly used pack is accepted is not published, which is exactly why the call comes before the parcel. |
| Your full name | Written on a sheet of paper in the box | The name on the order. A parcel that arrives with bottles and nothing else is a parcel nobody can match to a payment. |
| Your email address | The one the order email went to | It is how the desk confirms the credit once the parcel is received. |
| Your order ID | Copied exactly from the order email | The single most important line in the box. Everything else is a way of finding this. |
The three written lines are the entire administrative content of a return and they take a minute to produce. There is no printed form to download, no RMA number described anywhere in the published material, and no portal on this domain. A sheet of paper with a name, an email and an order ID on it is what the desk has asked for.

Before you post anything
Call +1 (302) 200-3480 first. It is the difference between a return the desk is expecting and a parcel that arrives unannounced at a warehouse, and it is the only step in this process that cannot be repaired afterwards.
The two addresses and the two desks
Four lines that between them cause most of the confusion
Both addresses are in New York and they are different buildings with different jobs. Both desks answer, and only one of them can touch your money.
| Channel | Detail | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Returns address | 11 Penn Plaza, Floor 5, New York, NY 10001, USA | Where bottles go. This is the address to write on the parcel. |
| Office address | 1411 Broadway, Floor 8, New York, NY 10018, USA | Correspondence for Gelagencare. Do not post bottles here; it is a different place. |
| Order desk | +1 (302) 200-3480 · Order desk - orders, tracking, changes and refunds | Every refund starts with this call. It is the seller's desk. |
| Website desk | [email protected] · Website desk - pages, typos, privacy and press, Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET | This website. It cannot see an order, issue a credit or change an address. |
The order desk belongs to the seller and can see your order, change an address and issue a credit. The website desk belongs to Gelagencare, fixes pages, and can do nothing about an order. Money and parcels go to the phone.

Timing
Two separate waits, and whose they are
The published timing is one sentence: 3 to 5 business days after the desk credits the order, then a further 5 to 10 days for the card to post it. Read it as two clocks rather than one, because they belong to different organisations and only the first one is the seller's.
The first clock is the desk crediting the order once your parcel has arrived and been checked, which the published line puts at three to five business days. Business days, not calendar days, so a return that lands on a Thursday before a holiday weekend is not late on the following Tuesday.
The second clock is your card issuer posting a credit it has already received, which the published line puts at a further five to ten days. Neither side can make that faster. It is the part most likely to feel like silence and the part where nothing has gone wrong.
If the money has not appeared
What to do, in the order that gets it resolved
Most of what feels like a missing refund is a wait that has not finished yet. The steps below assume it genuinely is late.
First, count the days properly
The clock does not start when you posted the parcel. It starts when the desk credits the order, which is after the parcel has arrived. Add three to five business days to that, then a further five to ten for the card. Only past that total is a refund actually late.
Then call the desk and ask for one specific thing
Not the status. The date the credit was issued. +1 (302) 200-3480. That date is what your bank will ask for, and without it nobody can look anything up. Take the return tracking number to the call as well.
Then ask your card issuer, with that date
Banks can trace a credit that has been issued but not posted. They cannot do anything useful with a customer who only knows they asked for a refund, which is why the previous step is the previous step.
What is not published about refunds
Three things, and we would rather list them than imply we know: whether a partly used pack can be returned, whether shipping paid on a two-bottle order is refunded, and whether any restocking charge applies. All three are not published, and all three can be answered by the desk in one call.
Two things a refund does not undo
Worth knowing before you treat the window as a safety net
A money-back guarantee returns money, and there are two things on this product it does not reach.
The first is the biotin. Two gummies carry 5,000 mcg, 16,667% of the daily value. If you have blood work booked, tell whoever orders it that you take this, whatever you later decide about the refund. The NIH fact sheet for health professionals advises health care providers to ask about biotin supplements and to consider interference when results do not match the clinical picture. A refund does not reach backwards into a test result.
The second is the name. Gelagen contains no collagen at all, and the name finding on the home page sets that out.

Three bottles is $69 a bottle, with free US shipping
Two bottles is $79 each and lands exactly on the 60-day guarantee. Three is $69 each and the first pack that ships free. Six is $49 each and 180 days of gummies against a 60-day window.
